Description:
Do you work on a unit with nursing students? Have you been a preceptor or instructor?  Do you want to be one but just not sure you have all the skills to navigate issues that may arise? We’re here to help!  In this webinar, join Laura Vogelsang and Rebecca Merkle to explore the role of the preceptor, instructor, and staff nurse in supporting students on the unit. A variety of topics will be covered including orientation, feedback, evaluation, and assessment. Several complexities will be discussed including managing unsuccessful students, boundary setting, and the role of the nurse as both an educator and care provider. After attending this webinar, you will feel more ready to welcome students as potential future colleagues onto your unit and prepare them for a successful transition to the nursing profession.

Who Should Attend?:
